HyperLink® HGV Series Antennas Provide Excellent Value NORTH ANDOVER, MA - 02/01/13 - L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has added new HyperLink® brand omnidirectional antennas for the 4.9-5.8 GHz band that are small, lightweight, and indoor/outdoor rated, yet cost as little as $25.00US each. The new HGV series antennas are economical but maintain the high performance standards that the HyperLink® brand is known for. Omnidirectional antennas in the 4.9-5.8 GHz band are used in point-to-multipoint setups for a variety of applications, including wireless LAN (WiFi), WiMAX, and homeland security and public safety applications. L-com's new series uses sealed collinear brass elements inside a durable UV-stable machine gray fiberglass radome. A vented end cap and drain holes in the base help prevent moisture build-up inside the antenna. These features allow the antenna to be mounted in up or down positions. Each antenna comes with a mast mounting kit for masts up to 2.0" in diameter.
