New USB Cables Combine Latching Technology with Zero-Halogen Cable

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – 04/20/2011 – L-com, Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, has combined latching USB cable technology with low-smoke, zero-halogen cable to create its new CAUZALAL-xx and CAUZALB-xx products.  The new products are ideal for military/aerospace applications where vibration is an issue because unlike standard USB connectors which rely on a friction fit, the latching connectors provide lock down mating retention with any USB Type-A jack.
