Bring waterproof protection to your 10gig Category 6a networks today with L-com's IP68 rated TRD695AWB-2M style cable assemblies and patch cords. The IP68 rating keeps out water and dust for up to 60 minutes of immersion under 1.5 meters of water. These cables can be used with IP rated receptacles WBRJC6A-110 or WBRJC6A-FF for a watertight seal and also have an innovative design that can also mate with standard jacks. This eliminates the need to find specialized cables that are IP rated on one end and have a standard RJ45 on the other. This is accomplished by a special waterproof shroud that can be pulled back to mate with a standard RJ45 jack.

TRD695AWB-2M is double shielded and grounded for protection from data-destroying EMI and RFI interference. It is built with an overall braid shield around individually shielded twisted pairs. The family is also excellent for PoE usage and applications. Full Category 6a performance means no worries about bandwidth or throughput in your 10gig Ethernet networks. It is wired to TIA/EIA 568B standards from compatibility with standard applications.

TRD695AWB-2M is terminated with shrouded, IP68 rated RJ45 (8x8) male plug connectors on each end. The included tethered dust cap can be used to cap off each end if not in use for further water and dust protection. To create a permanent IP rated seal, please see L-com's WBRJC6A-110 or WBRJC6A-FF coupler adapters which have compatible threading to create an airtight seal. TRD695AWB-2M is 2.0 meters in length (6.56 feet) and black in color. The PVC cable jacket is UL CMX outdoor rated and is resistant to moisture, water and UV radiation (sunlight). It is ideal for outdoor and PoE applications.

TRD695AWB family Category 6a waterproof assemblies come with tethered dust caps. A coupling nut and O-ring along with a shrouded RJ45 allows for creating an IP68 mated seal when properly mated and can also be used with standard jacks.
