Description

L-com's TFDL50 line of outdoor/industrial cables are designed for extreme applications where rugged, shielded, high-flex cables are required. They feature oil, chemical and ultra-violet resistant jackets. These jackets are pressure extruded over the cable core, effectively locking the twisted pairs in place. This provides very stable electrical performance, even when the cables are impacted, bent or repeatedly flexed. Additional features include stranded conductors and dynamic operating temperatures up to at least 75°C. These cables have been tested to 10 million flex cycles and the cable will not break down when exposed to oil based lubricants such as those normally found in an industrial automation environment! The cables are also CMX outdoor rated to guarantee excellent performance even outdoors. Order online today!

Features
  • Double shielded Category 5e bulk cable for reducing EMI/RFI noise in high-speed Ethernet networks
  • Oil Resistant, UV resistant, FR-TPE (Flame Retardant Thermoplastic Elastomer) jacket that is CMX rated for outdoor use
  • Dynamic temperature range of -40°C to +75°C and rated for 600V
  • Suitable for use in extreme Hi-flex continuous motion applications requiring 4 pair Cat5e cabling
  • Please note that this cable has large 0.046" conductors so a special RJ45 plug for large OD conductors is recommended; L-com offers TSP8048C5S to meet this need
Application
  • Outdoor networks
  • Industrial robotic or continuous motion applications
  • Harsh Environments such as Oil and Gas
  • Mil-Tec
  • Transportation
