Our PoE injectors/splitters, such as the L-com range of Cat5 PoE passive midspan/injectors, provide you with remote power for access points, access servers, outdoor routers, and other suitable devices. They are available in single, four, eight, and 12-port versions.
The BT-CAT5-E1, for example, is a compact indoor use single-port CAT5 midspan/injector. Also known as a PoE passive splitter, it provides you with DC power for one PoE-equipped device. Featuring shielded RJ45 jacks and power indicator LED, with an overcurrent protection circuit designed into the unit for added protection, it is ideal for wired switches, wireless LAN access points and bridges, IP surveillance cameras, and VoIP telephones. It is also compatible with APs and other equipment that support IEEE standard PoE pinout.
We also stock several PoE injector hubs, including the Planet POE-PT and PT-UPOE series.
The Planet POE-PT1200, POE-PT2400, POE-PT1200G, and POE-PT2400G series come equipped with 12 or 24 10/100BASE-TX or 10/100/1000BASE-TXFast Ethernet ports and follow IEEE 802.3, IEEE 802.3u, and IEEE 802.3af standards. For easy administrator management access, our hubs feature web and console management interfaces. As they support 48VDC power, they can be used with any remote IEEE802.3af powered device, such as a wireless LAN access point, an IP phone, or a LAN camera. They also come with a 2-year manufacturer's warranty and are in stock.
Our PoE Ethernet switches are designed to supply data and power for a wide range of PoE-compatible devices. Robust and feature-packed, they come in two broad variants, including PoE Planet unmanaged switches and Planet managed switches, and are available in rack mount and industrial rated versions. They feature a built-in web management system that allows for easy access to port management, security, and access control lists. They are ideal for networks that deploy PoE-enabled devices, including IP phones, IP cameras, and wireless access points.
Among our popular PoE-managed switches is the Planet IGS-5225-8P2S2X- the smallest 10G uplink managed PoE switch you can find anywhere in the industrial networking industry. It comes equipped with 8-gigabit ports that feature 36-watt 802.3at PoE+ and two 10Gbps SFP+ uplink slots and meets the demands of high-power consumption and high bandwidth for 11AC gigabit Wi-Fi APs, other PoE applications, or those needing heavy traffic loading. Built using a rugged metal case and able to tolerate extreme temperatures, from -40 to 75 degrees C, the IGS-5225-8P2SXIP30 is perfectly suited to run in demanding industrial environments. It delivers a high level of immunity against electromagnetic interference and heavy electrical surges found on plant floors or in curbside traffic control cabinets. For efficient use of cabinet space, you can also DIN rail or wall mount it.
