L-com’s 360° Shielding Process
L-com’s manufacturing process includes 360 degree shielding under the mold to insure full shielding from the bulk cable shield to the connector
shell. Some competitors shortcut this process by just tack soldering the cable drain wire to the connector shell. In many applications this shortcut
results in EMI leakage, causing system fail testing.
