Exceed USB 1.1's 5 meter limit and send USB signals up to 150 feet using regular Cat5e or Cat6 cables using L-com's W01-EXT-USB-50T USB repeater. Our competitively priced USB extender features a built in buffer and actively regenerates USB signals to preserve data integrity. Active repeaters provide maximum flexibility for USB devices are ideal for use with security and surveillance video, PC digital audio systems and other devices with USB interface that are located in remote locations.

The W01-EXT-USB-50T from L-com includes a local (LEX) unit, a remote (REX) unit and a user manual. The LEX unit uses a built-in 12 inch USB cable with a Type A plug male to an RJ45 (8x8) jack. The REX unit uses an RJ45 (8x8) jack to a USB Type A female jack. Connect the two units with a Category 5e or better Ethernet cable terminated with standard RJ45 connectors to extend your USB application up to 150ft.
