Passive InterModulation (PIM) can cause interference and degrade the quality of wireless communication systems. Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) typically require its passive mechanical components such as connectors to have a low PIM rating. The adapters in this section address this issue by having a low PIM of < -160 dBc.
