This new solution is perfect for new construction and buildings with existing in-wall Ethernet and telephone/DSL wiring. The four new items include protection for Cat5, Cat5e, and Cat6 lines, shielded or unshielded, as well as telephone, DSL, and T1 lines. “Providing protection from lightning and electrical surges is crucial to home and business owners,” said Patrick Pesa, Director of Product Management. “But running extra wires and mounting a large protector is not acceptable in many situations.
