NORTH ANDOVER, MA – 10/27/2010 – L-com, Inc, a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, has developed a line of RS-232 interface converters to address legacy industrial networking applications.
"We can now offer our own brand of RS-232 interface converters that provide the same, or in some cases better, feature sets at lower list prices than our competitors," said Peter McNeil, Product Manager.
The new SC-232 line features both port-powered and externally powered models as well as an opto-isolation option on some models. Each RS-232 interface converter ships with a DB9-to-screw terminal block adapter and is covered by L-com’s standard one-year warranty.
