L-com Adds Right Angle RJ45 Cables with Patent Pending Technology
NORTH ANDOVER, MA – 08/3/2010 – L-com, Inc, a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has introduced a new line of Cat5e and Cat6 RJ45 networking cables with right angle boots. These new cables feature patent pending channelized right angle pair guide and load bars which give the cables a true Cat 5e/6 rating.
The three lines are:
“Our patent pending channelized pair guide design helps maintain the pair twists as they enter and go through the right angle bend. By keeping the twists and proper pair separation, we are able to pass Cat 5e testing. Our competitors' molded right angle cables fail Cat5e/6 testing for cross talk and return loss because they do not control the pair twists through the 90 degree bend,” said Dave Gallagher, L-com Product Manager.
Along with the standard off-the-shelf cables that L-com will carry for same-day shipping, custom cables can be made at various lengths, colors, and with special labels all using L-com’s patent pending right angle design.
