North Andover, MA – June 30, 2008 – L-com Global Connectivity, renowned manufacturer and distributor of HyperLink brand antennas, amplifiers, waterproof enclosures, and other wireless connection equipment, announced the addition of a new line of 240 VAC Weatherproof Enclosures.
The HyperLink brand 240 VAC Weatherproof Enclosures are ideal for remote WLAN Wi-Fi equipment installations, indoor and outdoor, hot and cold temperature environments, solar powered applications, corrosive environments, sub-zero installations, hotspot applications and protection of equipment from theft or damage. These 14x12x7 inch enclosures are available with a wide range of options including heat and cooling.
The NB141207-20F model includes a thermostat controlled cooling fan that is powered via the mounting plate terminal strip. The high airflow, low noise fan allows air to be pushed or pulled through the enclosure. Filters for both ports are easily removable for cleaning and replacement. The fan turns on when the internal temperature rises to 120° F (49° C) ±5° and turn off at 90° F (32° C) ±10°.
The NB141207-2H0 includes a thermostat-controlled 200W heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature drops to 40° F (4° C) ±7° and turns off at 60° F (15° C) ±5°.
For applications where heat and cooling are required, the NB141207-2HF model includes a thermostat controlled cooling fan that is powered via the mounting plate terminal strip. It also includes a thermostat-controlled 200W heating system. The heater turns on when the internal temperature drops to 40° F (4° C) ±7° and turns off at 60° F (15° C) ±5°.
These units are in stock and available for sale. By mid-July, 2008, L-com will also offer these 240 models in larger 18x16x8 inch enclosures.
