L-com Announces the Release of Waterproof/Dustproof D-sub Covers

North Andover, MA – March 17, 2009 –  L-com Global Connectivity today announced the release of new waterproof/dustproof D-subminiature covers for D-sub shell sizes 1, 2, and 3.

The new series of products under WPSDx-CVR, including one for either DB9 or HD15 (SVGA) connectors, one for either DB15 or HD26 connectors, and one for DB25 or HD44 connectors, are all IP67 rated when used with L-com's WPSD waterproof D-sub panel mount connectors.

"Many of our customers rely on our waterproof/dustproof (IP67) products in their projects," said Steve Smith, Product Manager.  "This is just one more way where we are addressing our customer's needs."

L-com's expansion into waterproof/dustproof D-sub caps joins a host of other IP67 rated equipment, including telecom/modular products, fiber optic products, and USB products.
