L-com Announces USB Panel Mount Coupler to Pigtail Cable

North Andover, MA -- L-com Connectivity Products has announced the availability of its new ECF504-5M panel mountable USB shielded coupler assembly.

This addition to the popular USB panel mount adapter line allows the user the flexibility to configure their own assembly. It features a shielded bulkhead Type A Jack with 5 meters of un-terminated USB 2.0 compliant cable. The user can cut the cable to the desired length and hard wire or terminate it with their connector of choice. Utilizing a unique mounting flange these units are usable in virtually any panel thickness and provide a cost effective way to feed a USB bus through a panel or enclosure.

L-com can custom terminate these cable ends with modest minimum requirements.

Outer housing is UL94V0 rated ABS with a metallic conductive plating that maintains shielding integrity. All contact surfaces feature 30 microinch gold plating.
