The new units are weatherproof, offering years of trouble-free service; and secure, featuring WPA, WPA2, WPA-PSK, 802.1x as well as other security protocols.
“We’re pleased to offer these CPE units at terrific price points,” said Patrick Pesa, director of product development. “They offer great flexibility and reduced inventory stock as they can perform all that is required for establishing reliable wireless networks.” The two new models include a 2.4 GHz IEEE 802.11b/g/n compliant version and a 5.8 GHz IEEE 802.11a/n compliant version, both priced below $100 each. Both units have access point, wireless client, bridge, and repeater operating modes available. They are also both power-over-ethernet ready and come with a PoE injector and power supply.
