North Andover, MA · August 22, 2008 -- Consistent with its policy of investing in the environment, L-com Connectivity Products has incorporated Sustainability Training for all employees in the U.S. The training was coordinated by the Riverside Sustainability Awareness Training program (RSAT) and has included lessons on maintaining a low carbon footprint and Green business practices.
L-com's CEO, Ed Caselden, said, "We've invested in company-wide training for sustainability. This program is not lightweight or easy; it is designed to challenge employees to think green in their personal lives and their daily business activities."
Since 2006, L-com has been investing in green policies. The green initiative was spearheaded by L-com’s top management to use resources more efficiently, create a safer work environment and reduce the amount of materials added to the waste stream.
The Riverside Company, a private equity firm, is an investment partner in L-com, Inc. They routinely provide training like RSAT to their portfolio companies.
