L-com Doubles Options with Deluxe and Premium USB 2.0 A-A Cables

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – 1/5/2011 – L-com, Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, announced today that it has split its USB A-A cable line into two groups, deluxe and premium versions.  The move allows L-com to offer varying grades of USB cables to its customers at competitive prices.

“By offering these two versions of our USB 2.0 A-A cable products, we give our customer pricing options that are dependent on their specific applications needs,” said Steve Smith, L-com product manager.

The premium grade USB cables use 20 AWG power conductors and have a light gray jacket, while the deluxe grade uses 26 AWG power conductors and has a standard gray jacket.
