L-com Introduces 1U High-Density LC Fiber Patch Panels with 96 LC Fiber Ports
North Andover, MA – January 23, 2007 – L-com Connectivity Products has announced the availability of a new high-density fiber patch panel with LC connectors. These 1U high rack panels feature 96 LC fiber ports. L-com has two models available: bronze alignment sleeves for Multimode applications (62.5/125 and 50/125) and ceramic alignment sleeves for Singlemode applications (9/125).
Perfect for use in server farms and in high density storage applications, these patch panels are designed to maximize valuable rack space. IT professionals and network engineers will appreciate the efficiency these products will offer when designing wiring closets or other data rack or server rack applications.
LC connectors are popular small form-factor fiber optic connectors. Their size and snap-in connection design allows them to be used in a variety of fiber optic applications, including networking, security, data storage, and military/aerospace.
