L-com Launches Additional Deluxe-Grade DVI Cable Options

NORTH ANDOVER, MA - 9/5/2013 - L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has released more new, deluxe-grade versions of its popular DVI cable assembly line. The deluxe version gives customers more choices between industry-standard quality and premium quality cables and prices.

L-com's original, "premium" grade DVI cables came with high-quality features such as 30 microinch gold plated contacts and metal shields under the molding in the backshells. The new deluxe grade will instead use gold flash plated contacts and copper tape wrap shielding under the backshell mold, offering the same or better quality as other industry-standard cables with competitive pricing.

"We've offered a huge variety of DVI products over the years," said Steve Smith, Product Manager. "Our new deluxe grade DVI cables are perfect for use in typical home or office applications."

L-com's deluxe cables are available in DVI-D or DVI-I with single or dual link, DVI-A to HD15 connectors, and DVI-D to HDMI connectors. Apart from the conductor plating and backshell shielding, they are the same as their premium counterparts except for the PVC jackets, which are black in the deluxe versions. All deluxe versions are stocked in L-com's North Andover, MA, distribution center for same-day shipment.
