L-com Now Carries Female-to-Female Non-Panel Mount D-Sub Cables

NORTH ANDOVER, MA – 2/09/2011 – L-com, Inc., a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity products, now carries standard D-Sub cables with female connectors on each end. The cables, which are available in DB9, DB15, and DB25 sizes, are wired straight through for a variety of applications.

"Typically we carry only male-to-male and male-to-female D-Sub cables for direct connect and extension, respectively," said Steve Smith, Product Manager. "These new cables are female-to-female for customer-specific applications. They allow us an even greater coverage of connectivity products for every need."

L-com has long carried the CRMN female-to-female D-Sub cables that are panel-mountable, but they are more expensive due to the panel mounting capabilities. The new CSMN series female-to-female D-Sub cables are a lower-cost alternative.
