NORTH ANDOVER, MA, -- March 3, 2009 -- L-com, a global leader in the manufacture of wired and wireless connectivity solutions, has introduced the CSUZAA series of Low Smoke Zero Halogen (LSZH) USB cables.

The CSUZAA series features Low Smoke Zero Halogen cable jackets which reduce the amount of toxic and corrosive gases emitted during combustion.  By utilizing these USB cables both people and expensive communications equipment are protected.

"Many of our military and government contractor customers were requesting a Type A to Type A LSZH USB assembly to fulfill their design requirements.  The CSUZAA series is the result of those customer requests," said Steve Smith, Product Manager.

Mainly used in poorly ventilated areas, LSZH cables are typically found in shipboard and aerospace applications.
