L-com Releases Miniature Industrial Enclosures for Junctions, Terminal Wiring, Instrument Housing, and Pushbutton Housing NORTH ANDOVER, MA - 4/01/13 - L-com, Inc., a designer and manufacturer of wired and wireless connectivity products, has released a line of industrial enclosures for smaller applications that require the protection of electrical equipment or wiring in wet, dusty, or corrosive environments. The new NBV series industrial enclosures are made of VALOX® 375U crystalline thermoplastic polyester that is easily punched, drilled, sawed or filed, but offers a performance profile engineered for demanding end-use environments. The new enclosures come in seven different sizes, ranging from 5"x3"x3" (12.7cm x 7.6cm x 7.6cm) to 7"x7"x3" (17.8cm x 17.8cm x 7.6cm). The tongue and groove gasket fitting provides an oil-resistant, watertight, and dust seal, allowing the enclosures to achieve IP66 (IEC 529) protection. They are UL/CSA® and NEMA rated for types 4, 4x, 3, 3R, 12 and 13, making them suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications. The molded internal bosses allow for back panel mounting of components or DIN rails, making them perfect for a number of applications, including:
