New HDMI Rack Panels added to L-com’s A/V offering
North Andover, MA – November 15, 2006 – L-com Connectivity Products announced today the addition of new HDMI feed-through panels to its line up. The panels, including a 16 port, 19x3.5 inch HDMI rack panel and a compact, 2 port HDMI Universal Sub Panel, feature all female HDMI couplers with gold contacts. The Universal Sub Panel can be mounted in a UPR35 rack frame along with other sub panels to form a customized 19” rack panel.
HDMI (High Definition Multimedia Interface) technology has taken the audio/video (A/V) world by storm in recent years, being smaller and simpler than it’s predecessor, DVI (Digital Visual Interface). Along with HDTVs and peripheral equipment, much of the new industrial and commercial video equipment is being manufactured with HDMI connectors.
