Description

Icron's USB Ranger® 2244 offers a unique long distance solution for extending USB 2.0 connections at up to 480 Mbps up to 10km over Singlemode Fiber. The 2244 provides 4 USB 2.0 ports at the REX unit. A standard Duplex LC interface is used for both LEX & REX units. This robust USB fiber extender is also certified for demanding industrial environments and is FCC/CE Class B certified, meets EN-61000 16kV ESD immunity and utilizes a rugged metal enclosure.

This LEGACY USB 2.0 Ranger 2244 extender is not recommended for new designs, instead please consider the newer USB 2.0 Ranger 2344 to take advantage of improved functionality, interoperability, and pricing.

Supported platforms include: Windows, MAC OS, Linux UK, European and Australian power versions available. Optional mounting kit also available. Contact your L-com Sales Representative for details.
