-NEW- Icron's USB 2.0 Ranger® 2324 extender product extends high-speed USB 2.0 connections up to 500m using multimode fiber. The Ranger 2324 is ideal for extending USB peripherals and supports USB 2.0 throughputs up to 480 Mbps. The 2324 provides 4 USB 2.0 ports at the REX unit. An SFP Duplex LC slot is used for both the LEX & REX units. This ExtremeUSB® based fiber extender system is FCC/CE Class B certified. These USB extenders require AC power (included) at the REX end. Supported platforms include Windows, MAC OS, and Linux. UK, European, Japanese, and Australian power versions available. Optional mounting kits also available

  • True plug and play, ready to operate right out of the box. No new driver installation required. Supports all major operating systems including Windows®, Mac OS®, and Linux®
  • AC power adapter at remote unit (REX) provides up to 1 Amp vs. standard 500ma to the USB ports; power adapter at local unit (LEX) is not required
  • Max range of 500m over multimode fiber optic cabling; uses SFP Duplex LC connections
  • Provides four remote USB 2.0 ports, while supporting up to 30 devices
