Icron's USB Rover® 1850 and 2850 USB extender products provide USB extension of USB 1.1 connections at up to 12Mbps over solid conductor Cat 5e (or better) cabling. The 1850 USB extender supports a single device port, while the 2850 USB extender provides support for two device ports. Both units are bus-powered and do not require an external power supply, they transmit power and data over the same Category 5 UTP cable. These USB extenders are ideal for use with USB 1.1 keyboards and mice. All units provide support for any full-speed (12 Mbps) or low-speed (1.5 Mbps) USB device. Set includes both the local and remote units. Supported platforms include: Windows, MAC OS and Linux.
