L-com's CAU3ZAB series of USB 3.0 cables feature Low Smoke Zero Halogen cable jackets which reduce the amount of toxic and corrosive gases emitted during combustion. Typically used in poorly ventilated areas, low smoke zero halogen is very popular with military contractors and anywhere where the protection of people and equipment from toxic and corrosive gases is critical. USB 3.0 cables are up to 10 times faster than USB 2.0 - 4.8 Gbps versus 480 Mbps. The increased bandwidth substantially reduces the time required for transferring large amounts of data or video.
