Description

The BT-CAT5-R0512 Power-Over-Ethernet (PoE) Splitter/Tap delivers both data and DC power to non-PoE equipped Ethernet devices using a single CAT5 cable. This eliminates the need to place an Ethernet enabled device such as a wireless access point or IP camera near a power outlet, giving you more freedom in placement.

With the BT-CAT5-R0512, both power and data can be transmitted up to 328 feet (100m) using standard Ethernet cabling with virtually no reduction in data throughput. The unit supports both Fast and Gigabit Ethernet speeds.

Adjustable Output Voltage

The BT-CAT5-R0512 features a user adjustable output voltage selector. It can be set for 5VDC, 7.5VDC, 9VDC or 12VDC allowing it to be used with a wide range on non-PoE devices.

802.3af Compliant

The BT-CAT5-R0512 is compliant with 802.3af PoE. The unit is unique in that is works with both 802.3af compliant network switches (PoE Mode A) and Midspan/Injectors (PoE Mode B).

Included with the BT-CAT5-R0512 is an 18 inch DC Power Cable Kit. This kit includes both 2.1mm and 2.5mm DC Plugs, in both straight and right angle configurations.
