L-com’s line of Cat6 lightning and surge protectors feature improved frequency response for 10Base-T, 100Base-T and 1000Base-T Ethernet systems and Power over Ethernet (PoE) cameras. Both our indoor and outdoor Cat6 surge protectors have RJ45 jacks and protect network equipment including switches, wireless access points and bridges, wireless client adapters, Voice over Internet Protocol (VoIP) telephone systems, and intra-building cable runs. Some of our Ethernet surge protectors are compatible with Cat5, Cat5e, Cisco reverse polarity PoE and Motorola/Orthogon systems.
Our outdoor Cat6 surge protectors are made to handle the elements. Some feature an impact- and weather-resistant housing with a lockable hinged cover. Our compact models are also weatherproof, with a gasketed cover on an enclosure made of either ABS plastic or, for industrial use, die cast aluminum.
Our Indoor Cat6 lightning surge protectors are housed in cast aluminum and have ports to protect either two or four Ethernet lines. They can be mounted on a wall or a shelf; and some models attach to DIN rails. Our indoor line of Ethernet surge protectors is easy-to-install, economy in-line devices that protect equipment from static discharge, lightning and faulty wiring.
